Awards

Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award

These awards are intended to recognize exceptional contributions and encourage new entrants into the fields within the technical scope of the conference. Winners will be selected using paper reviews and additional study by an Awards Committee. Best Student Paper Award finalists may be asked to present their work to the Awards Committee or in a special session for full consideration. Typically, two or three papers are selected for each of these awards. Winners receive a cash prize (split among authors for the Best Paper Award and among student authors for the Best Student Paper Award) and a certificate.

Conference Best Paper Award for Industry

This award recognizes a paper of exceptional industrial merit and industrial impact dealing with a subject related to the Signal Processing Society’s technical scope. Selection will be by a five-person Conference Award Evaluation Committee. The prize shall consist of $500 per author (up to a maximum of $1500 per award) and a certificate.
